Microsoft unveiled the much-talked-about Windows 10 yesterday at its Redmond, Wash., headquarters. More than just an operating system, Microsoft leadership touted the release as a shift in how we perceive computing — more of a service, not a system.
I was unimpressed. There were lots of promises that hinted at the false hopes (and hype) of Windows 8, but no solid revelations that would truly change the way we do business.
Here are some of my first impressions on the key features:
1. Continuity of Experience
