A client recently came to me wondering whether PayPal or Square is better for mobile processing. And although intuitively I wanted to say “PayPal,” I also wanted to do a bit of digging to support my experiential evidence.
Square introduced us to mobile payment processing in 2009 and since then has amassed more than three million users.
PayPal is the leader in online web-commerce solutions, and introduced mobile payments in 2012. Currently, they have more than 140 million accounts.
