The Alliance for Workplace Excellence names Optimal as winner of 2013 Workplace Excellence Award
Rockville, MD, April, 2013—Optimal Networks, Inc. has been selected to receive the Workplace Excellence Award for the sixth year in a row; they are only the second company in their category to have accomplished this since the award’s inception in 1999. The Alliance for Workplace Excellence (AWE) recognized Optimal as a 2013 exemplary employer for creating an environment in which employees experience personal and professional fulfillment. Representatives from Optimal Networks will accept this award on May 15, 2013 at a special luncheon at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel and Conference Center in Bethesda, Md.
Out of hundreds of applicants, only 62 companies will receive the Workplace Excellence Award in 2013. Optimal was chosen for the award for its innovative corporate culture and management practices, workforce demographics, employee engagement and retention programs, commitment to corporate social responsibility, diversity and inclusion programs, workplace benefits and rewards, family-friendly policies, strong employee health and wellness initiatives, and comprehensive growth and learning opportunities.

All award applicants undergo a rigorous assessment process led by an independent review panel of professors, Ph.D. professionals, and doctoral candidates in business, industrial and organizational psychology, and human resources. This comprehensive analysis revealed Optimal’s ongoing commitment to an innovative, supportive, stimulating and fun culture.
