The Alliance for Workplace Excellence names Optimal as winner of 2009 Workplace Excellence Award

GAITHERSBURG, MD, April 1, 2009—Optimal Networks, Inc. has been selected to receive the 2009 Workplace Excellence Award. The Alliance for Workplace Excellence recognized Optimal as a visionary employer for its efforts in creating an environment in which employees experience personal and professional fulfilment. Optimal Networks is among a very small group of award winners which will accept this award on June 3, 2009 at a special luncheon at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel and Conference Center in Bethesda, Md.

Optimal was chosen for the award for its family-friendly policies and practices, strong employee health and wellness initiatives, comprehensive growth and learning opportunities, and commitment to corporate social responsibility and employee volunteerism.

In order to be considered for the award, Optimal underwent a rigorous assessment process led by an independent review panel of professors, PhD professionals, and doctoral candidates in business, industrial and organizational psychology, and human resources. This comprehensive evaluation illuminated Optimal’s ongoing commitment to an innovative, supportive, stimulating and fun culture.
