10/12 Gazette of Politics and Business Selects Optimal as One of Top 53 Area Businesses

Rockville, MD— Optimal Networks has been recognized by The Gazette of Politics and Business as one of the53 top businesses and organizations in the State of Maryland. The company was chosen based on service innovations, community service efforts, and corporate culture.

The fifth annual awards ceremony was held Thursday, October, 25th, 2012 at the Hilton Hotel in Gaithersburg. During the awards ceremony, it was revealed that Optimal ranked 38 out of the 53 chosen. The awards ceremony was sponsored by Montgomery College, Hughes Network Systems, LLC, Montgomery County Commuter Services, and Rockville Economic Development, Inc. and included a cocktail reception andnetworking activities at the hotel.

Optimal Networks was also selected for its exceptional growth during the last three years and innovation in technology service delivery. Optimal was also selected as a recipient last year, and ranked 42 in 2011.

“To make the 53 list is a great accomplishment,” said Trina Lapier, publisher of The Gazette of Politics and Business. “This year’s list features companies from the State of Maryland that have had success in a wide variety of fields, and each company deserved recognition of their accomplishments.”

Optimal Networks will be profiled in a special section as part of the Friday October 26th, 2012 edition of the publication.
