Rockville, MD, April, 2017—Optimal Networks, Inc. has been selected to receive the Alliance for Workplace Excellence (AWE) Award for the tenth year in a row. Only a handful of companies have achieved this status in the 18 years since the AWE was founded. Optimal will be recognized for their exemplary commitment to building an outstanding place to work at a special awards luncheon on June 9, 2017 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Gaithersburg Marriott Washingtonian Center.
Optimal was chosen for the award for its innovative corporate culture and inventive management practices, workforce demographics, employee engagement and retention programs, commitment to corporate social responsibility, diversity and inclusion programs, workplace benefits and rewards, family-friendly policies, strong employee health and wellness initiatives, and comprehensive growth and learning opportunities.
Out of hundreds of applicants, only 47 companies will receive the Workplace Excellence Award in 2017.

This comprehensive analysis revealed Optimal’s ongoing commitment to an innovative, compassionate, motivating, and enjoyable culture.
The theme for this year’s event is “Continued Care & Commitment to Workplace Excellence during Times of Change.” Autria Godfrey, the Emmy Award winning news Anchor of Good Morning Washington and ABC7 News at Noon, will be the emcee of the event.
