Rockville, MD, April, 2016—For the ninth year in a row, Optimal Networks, Inc. has been selected to receive the Workplace Excellence Award by the Alliance for Workplace Excellence. Less than 30 companies in the DC Metro area have achieved this status in the 17 years since The Alliance for Workplace Excellence (AWE) was founded. Optimal was recognized in 2016 for creating a workplace with a unique corporate culture in which employees are encouraged and supported.

Out of hundreds of applicants, less than 50 companies will receive the Workplace Excellence Award in 2016.
 
Representatives from Optimal Networks will accept this award on Friday, June 10 at a special luncheon at the Bethesda Marriott in Bethesda, MD. The event will begin with an educational session followed by the awards luncheon and celebration. More than 250 business executives will be in attendance to learn from the awardees.
 
Optimal was once again chosen as an awardee for the company’s “work hard, play hard” corporate culture, innovative management practices, workforce demographics, employee engagement and retention programs, commitment to corporate social responsibility, diversity and inclusion programs, workplace benefits and rewards, family-friendly policies, strong employee health and wellness initiatives, and comprehensive growth and learning opportunities.

All award applicants undergo a rigorous assessment process led by an independent review panel of professors, Ph.D. professionals, and doctoral candidates in business, industrial and organizational psychology, and human resources.
