This phone screen helps to identify and quantify candidate character traits, such as service orientation, teamwork skills, integrity/ethics, and more. A high score is necessary to move forward in the process.
  • Your interview.   When a candidate scores high on the phone screen, you interview them. If they pass your interview, they move forward in the process.
  • Practical exam.   In the Optimal office, we have a virtual server and workstation environment which simulates a client network system. Candidates are asked to complete a series of tasks that they might find on the job. A high score on this difficult exam is necessary to proceed to the next step.
  • Our interviews.   First, the technical interview. The candidate will be interviewed by one of our senior engineers, who have been trained in behavioral interviewing techniques, to determine if the candidate has the complex technical knowledge required to effectively perform the job. Next, the service interview. The candidate will be interviewed by Optimal’s service leaders, who have been trained in behavioral interviewing techniques, to determine if the candidate can provide true, "Optimal-style" customer service.
  • Final steps.   Together, we work with you to offer the candidate a job, negotiate a salary, and set a start date. Optimal is available to help you through these final steps as much as necessary, and we are also happy to check references.
