Optimal Networks, Inc. Names David R. Campbell as Chief Operating Officer
GAITHERSBURG, MD, January 29, 2008—Today Heinan Landa, president and founder of Optimal Networks, Inc., appointed David R. Campbell as Chief Operating Officer (COO). Having a COO, Optimal Networks will strongly pursue strategic growth opportunities and strengthen relationships with clients by focusing on key vertical markets, including legal practices and non-profit organizations.
Mr. Campbell plans to enhance Optimal’s client services team by helping them understand each client’s business model. With this expertise, the company’s service representatives will act as business consultants. “Our existing clients and prospects need an Information Technology (IT) consultant who comprehends their strategic goals and will work with them to ensure that their organization will thrive by using the best and most appropriate technology for their sector” said David R. Campbell.
Almost 7 years ago, Mr. Campbell came to Optimal Networks to increase support for the client base that Heinan Landa had developed since he started the business in 1991. “When David joined the team, I knew that he would create strong, unique relationships with each organization we supported, said Mr. Landa. He and I both knew that fixing their technical problems was the easy part of our job; encouraging each of them to actively pursue their own strategic goals through technology would be the key to energizing them and further growing our business.”
David R. Campbell joined Optimal Networks in 2001 to create a client services team that would integrate client services into all segments of Optimal’s business. As part of this effort, David Campbell developed a unique, Optimal Networks blog to educate clients and prospects about how to receive the best customer service. He has focused on service delivery, preconceived ideas about service providers and their customers, and grievance management. His attentiveness to service together with his strong motivation and enthusiasm have decreased employee turnover, and increased client retention as well as increased employee satisfaction.
David Campbell has worked in customer service roles for more than 15 years. He has supported customers in IT and the hospitality industry. Mr. Campbell earned his Bachelor degree in English Literature from East Carolina University and completed his Master of Science degree in Management at the University of Maryland.
