History

Optimal Networks, Inc. was founded in August of 1991 by its current owner and President, Heinan Landa. Heinan is an electrical engineer, and a graduate of the Wharton School of Business.

In 1995, Optimal chose to focus on law firms, associations, not-for-profits, social services agencies, and the small- and medium-sized organizations in Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Northern Virginia. This tight business focus allowed Optimal to hire the engineering talent suited to serving these organizations, and fully develop its partial and full IT outsourcing solutions: Sentrysm and OptimalGuardiansm. Optimal rapidly developed strong industry partnerships with Novell (1992), Lotus (1993), and Microsoft (1996), as well as other industry leaders like IBM, Hewlett-Packard, Cisco, and 3Com. Our familiarity with specific industries and strong partnerships led us to provide strategic technology consulting to our clients--advice that helps many organizations maximum profit by aligning technology with business goals.

For almst two decades, Optimal has established the highest technical and service standards. The result has been a solid, steady growth pattern indicative of a well-managed company. The firm's operations and service capabilities have continued to improve--a testament to the excellent team of professionals who have joined to help drive the company forward.
