Heinan in India with Montgomery County Delegation

Heinan Joins Montgomery County Delegation to India to Strengthen Business Partnership

Heinan Landa, president and founder of Optimal Networks, will join a delegation of public and private leaders from Montgomery County to the Indian state of Haryana November 9-17, 2007 to explore concrete prospects for partnerships and joint ventures between Montgomery County and Indian companies.

Specifically, Landa will be visiting Zenith Infotech, an Indian-based Optimal Networks' partner, to get a hands-on view of their day-to-day operations. Zenith Infotechís Network Operations Center (NOC) helps Optimal securely monitor, patch, and update the servers for all OptimalGuardian clients 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Zenith Infotechís NOC, staffed with 350 engineers, handles this information and saves it at multiple data centers across the U.S. Optimal has fully integrated the NOC into its internal tracking and client services systems to provide seamless, routine monitoring. By using these monitoring and management services during non-business hours, Optimal is able to deliver comprehensive services including key strategic infrastructure consulting to our clients during peak business hours, providing them the most value.

Like Landa, the Montgomery County Trade Mission hopes to expand the Countyís existing business ties with India, bring investment back to the County by educating Indian investors about why Montgomery County is a smart location in which to establish a U.S. presence, and provide a unique opportunity for U.S. companies to connect with innovative Indian organizations and investors.

This trip is in line with County Executive Leggett's core policy objectives, including establishing new patterns of collaboration, participation and partnership for Montgomery County. Landa was invited to participate because of Optimal's existing business relationship in India.
